Welcome to the Progressive Caucus of the NCDP web site.

We are an official caucus of the North Carolina Democratic Party with the express aim to further progressive causes in the state and nationwide. Our goals include the elimination of the influence of money and corporate interests in politics, protection of civil rights and equality for all, advocacy for science, technology, and evidence-based policy, moving towards universal health care for all Americans, supporting a transition to renewable energy, combating pollution and climate change, and many more.

With progressive candidates locally, regionally, and for Congress, all of these goals are achievable, and with your help, we can affect real change for a government in service of all Americans, in North Carolina, and the entire nation. To do so, we need your help.
Join us today to help us move North Carolina forward. Annual membership dues are only $10; as a member, you’ll gain access to members-only content, receive automatic invites to meetings and gatherings (with voting rights if you’re a registered Democrat), and have a real voice in shaping the direction of the caucus.

If you haven’t yet, please take our Member survey to let us know about the issues interesting you most. We will use this information to prioritize our work, form committees, draft resolutions for inclusion in the party platform, and work towards solving the problems that affect us all most!
