Saturday, 12/2, about 70 of us gathered in Greensboro. In my perspective, the caucus began right then.
We went through the first full spectrum meeting: Robert’s Rules, committee reports, motions, and whatnot. But what made it real was the breakouts after the next meeting was planned and this one adjourned.
Hesitantly, at first, a sizeable portion of the members gravitated to groups working on committees. Strategy, outreach, bylaws, and platform are starting to come together and the new technology and chapter support are forming.
This is where the caucus begins, members finding their niche and putting their skills to work to create the change.
We have begun the process to make the difference in 2018, and beyond.
